I presume you're being sarcastic. Im not getting into a duel with a stan over something so subjective but I'll say this; this isnt the 1st video to feature wild animals nor fire. Theres RTW, she-wolf, whenever wherever - the most comparable to this video and that was produced over 10 years ago.

A user above summed her videography up perfectly; style over substance always. While that suits Blank Space type videos, it just weakens the intensity of her environment in this one.

The text at the beginning and end of the video was unnecessary, but I really liked the video overall! Very nice imagery.

My fave song from the album. Nice video but a bit dramatic towards the end. And the text at the end was not necessary, Taylor meeting Taylor spoke loud enough.

The song is horrible & one of the least inspired tracks on 1989.

Not the best choice for a single, but the video was beautiful. Bar her cringey acting abilities, she & Joseph have been pioneers of putting out perfectly crafted pop videos this era.

She has made the smoothest transition from "country", spaghetti-haired girl, with guitar in hand visuals - to certified pop star... & I'd even say she's bested a lot of her peers' recent videographies, even those who've been doing pop videos from the beginning.

The ending reminds me of Taeyeon's I and Jessica Mauboy's Never Gonna Be The Same.

Visually stunning, but I don't feel it! It's like WD! A beautiful, but pointless video!

I love the message of the video but I really think that anyone with a brain would be able to work out that she found herself without necessarily having to have that tacky text (real stans know it's significance within the era but still). I don't mind though.

I've started to warm up to this song but I'm still mad as hell about New Romantics
