First of all you sound dumb considering ESOM went number one on the digital chart already.. And having radioplay not count wouldnt be right since not everyone downloads music and especially Urban music.

People should really get over the Lady Antebellum thing, it's so annoying and repetitive.

What sophisticated language. My post is very well articulated.ESOM hasn't been number one on the digital chart for a while. In case you haven't noticed, ESOM didn't go number one this week because of its DOWNLOADS, it went number one because of radio play. And, no, it is silly to include airplay. Because radio could overplay a top 20 song, forcing it to the top 10. But, it didn't go to top 10 because people like it enough to download it to the top 10, it was radioed to the top 10. There's a difference.
And you point about "people not downloading songs" doesn't even make sense. Billboard is supposed to reflect CONSUMER trends in the music industry to measure COMMERCIAL success, not illegal success.
But, you're correct, in that ESOM has some legitimacy since it went #1 digitally a while back. But, it should've been number one back then, and not now.
Plenty of countries don't include radio play in their charts, and they all seem right to me.


Also, I'm sorry if that post is offensive, but I'm just trying to defend what I've written. I'm not purposefully trying to ridicule you. I've already said that I'm happy for Alicia and Jay-Z, so I'm not hating!

People also have a right to express their likes and dislikes without being attacked. If he likes Whatcha Say, but doesn't understand why people like ESOM, that's fine. I don't see the problem with him stating that. Even though it isn't very constructive, he's only sharing his thoughts. This response seems fairly harsh.
The example you put up there is fine, too. If you think Whatcha Say is garbage, go ahead and say it, share it with everyone.
