This "half the price" argument is null and void. It's the same price as all other albums. And was sold for $4.99 for ONE DAY on ONE app along with EVERY other RELEASE. Give it up.
You're right there is NO excuse for a Pop album, with a bigger WW hit than any of the songs on the other one combined, to barely outsell an R&B album released 2 years later WW in the first week. How truly embarrassing.
