And people like you need to stop using the Middle East in your examples as if you actually care about women in the region or are educated about it. In fact, Middle Eastern women actually say the same thing as you do. They say they're fine (they do live comfortable lives in most of those countries except maybe Saudi Arabia and Iran) and you're complaining about nothing. |
Literally have never, ever heard about Lil Boosie. But people criticizing a guy for an actually homophobic rant aren't SJWs anyways.
If the shoe doesn't fit, I'm not talking about you. "SJW" is not a term referring to all social activists (if I was referring to social activists... I'd refer to social activists), it refers to "social activists" who care about their public image (NOT the causes they're championing), do all their activism behind a computer screen, and do focus more on Bryce Dallas Howard's heels than actual problems. I see at least one or two articles every other week complaining about Taylor Swift shooting a video in Africa or Bryce Dallas Howard wearing heels. Wanna guess how many news media articles I see about how woman are required to have
multiple men testify for them in a court that, yes, they have been raped, in some middle eastern countries? And that they're stoned to death if they failed to (as they admitted to sexual relations)?
Zero.
And ATRL is crazy bigoted and everyone on this site knows it. "Most" was a hyperbole, but it is up there.
