I can't believe the public would even want to hear "Putin wants me as president." That would be a red flag for me

I mean his critics want reasons to paint him as neo-fascist, and he just gives it to them.

I feel like Bernie's supporters would be more supportive than that. Most of his followers are people ardently against status quo politicans/the establishment, theyd either vote for Sanders or not at all.

I think it could dent Hillarys numbers enough for a certain Donald to win. Not that this will actually happen.

With so many who would be just fine supporting her, not only would Bernie probably never consider an independent run, but he'd probably do poorly enough to have to drop out before the general election if he did run independent.

I have no problem with Putin, to be honest.
Like i've always said, not every country has to be a democracy. Some people (like Russians) clearly don't care about choice, and they love him, so who are we to question it?

That stupid mentality of trying to democratize everything and everyone (even ppl who don't want a democracy) is what ruined Libya, Egypt (thanks to Hillary) and Iraq

Not every country has to be a democracy, but Putin isn't looking to be an ally of the United States; he is looking to build his country back up to the superpower it once was at the cost of European and U.S. geopolitical interests. Obviously there is something in it for him if Trump becomes president...It isnt so hard to connect the dots.

Let Russia try to fix the Middle East (it's unfixable). They'll never get anything resolved (and they'll go broke again). Besides, we want to take out Assad and then what? Gaddaffi 2.0.

To me it's more of, "This guy would unlikely be trying to make an enemy out of Russia"

I get the feeling that this won't hurt Bernie that much it'll just make the Little Bernsters hate Hillary / "the establishment!!!" even more when she attacks him for it

I know Bernie doesn't like attacking her too much, but if/when she goes attacking him, he finally needs to really attack her back.

I want them to play it cute so we can see a Hillary/Bernie or Bernie/Hillary ticket. Cause if Trump picks Rubio as a running mate, it can be very risky and would require someone very charismatic and popular on the left to compete against.
