I could never find the right word to describe Nicki Minaj's music, but you hit the nail on the head. Nicki Minaj's music is very cheap, extremely cheap. Such a simple word, but so accurate to describe Nicki Minaj's artistry. Katy Perry's music is juvenile, but at least it doesn't sound cheap; it sounds like millions of dollars were spent on producers and writers to make something generic and juvenile for mass consumption. It's like Katy Perry is Tropicana and Nicki Minaj is the cheap Five Alive version that no one buys. In any case, these are the many reasons why Drake is superior to Nicki Minaj.

I still don't think any of his album has out sold her WW(Counting just WW sales obviously). His last album was the first time. Even then the Pinkprint is catching up in UK.

Worth noting: much of the success of The Pinkprint had to do with Drake. He was featured on several singles and appeared in the Anaconda mv.

I stan strongly for both so I am able to say that gender plays a factor along with consistency. Drake is by far more consistent & is a lot more rap friendly than Nicki.

Though Nicki's the better lyricist, Dake's the better artist & that helps with his brand.
