Beyonce can be more succesful (she isn't anyways ) and that still doesn't mean she changed the industry.
So if i claim Katy Perry is a legend and someone who stans for Selena Gomez doesn't agree i will reply (according to Beyonce stans) 'Katy is more succesful than Selena'
Do you realize how stupid you guys sound?

She didn't.
The industry changed the game, because of Beyonce's ST Release. Beyonce doesn't have the power to change ****, she is an artist, not a Multibillion dollar industry.

no no hunny. Theres a difference between disagreeing and saying "Bey is just another random RNB singer". And yes, if a Selena Gomez fan would say "Katy is nothing but a random pop singer who has accomplished zero and will not be remembered", you have every right to say "thats pretty rich coming from somebody who stans for Selena and makes arguments shes the biggest thing since MJ".

omg It's not hard to understand, who you stan for doesn't invalidate your opinions.
She isn't a random R&B singer, she's a very succesful one BUT she didn't change the industry. In fact, the music industry is changing and her streaming isn't impressive at all, just like her digital sales were weak. It's funny because she 'changed the industry' but the new ways of music consumption are paying her dust.

It's funny to see these bitter haters think their opinion means anything against Forbes. Get over it.

Katy:
One of the Boys:
WW: 5,000,000
US: 1,690,000
UK: 674,588
Teenage Dream:
WW: 5,700,000
US: 3,000,000
UK: 1,171,340
Prism:
WW: 4,000,000
US: 1,650,000
Beyonce (sans IASF):
BDAY:
World: 8,000,000
(as of 2013)
US: 3,400,000
(as of 2014)
UK: 385,078
(standard vers.; as of 2011)
4:
World: 3,000,000
(as of 2013)
US: 1,410,000
(as of 2014)
UK: 603,548
(as of 2013)
BEYONCE:
World: 5,000,000
US: 2,200,000
UK: 418,000
Beys WW vs US ratio + sales are way more impressive than Katys. So I guess Beys more global than her at least.

WTF at these inflated numbers
Self-titled, for example, has only sold 3.2M, with 2.3M of them coming from the US.
That alone speaks of how local Beyoncé is.

Who else but Queen B? The haters can stay pressed, they know that their faves stan Bey. Love her.

If you're going to try to correct someone, at least say something factual. Self-titled was last reported at 3.7-3.8M several months ago (I'm not saying it sold 5M either, but it's definitely not 3.2). Thanks for playing though.

thats your ****ing opinion but not the facts. The whole idea of rap-singing is one part of Beys legacy. You might think its utter ****, but the industry & media & therefore the GP will acknowledge her for that. Same goes for her impact with SL and also with ST. You might think its nothing to brag about, but the incredible number of articles and music experts who actually hold power to their name disagree with you.
I hate when people go on to post their opinion but phrase it as a fact, when its clearly not.
