^ If there's one thing I can't take about ESOM it's how the title refers to NYC when the Empire State is NYS, not NYC. The entire song is obviously about the city, not the state. And upstate NY >>> NYC, anyways.
The Empire State building is named after the entire state, not the other way around.
Anyways, it just irks me, because it seems kind of ignorant. But whatever. It's nice to see two artists representing their hometown.
