why does it seem like people claim every other celebrity has a lazy eye now? especially when at least half the time they don't actually have a pronounced lazy eye

No, she doesn't. The vast majority of people in Asia have bigger eyes than her. If you mean East Asians only, she still doesn't have big eyes and she wears heavy eye makeup to create an illusion of bigger eyes.
