Grandpa Hank - A Republican till he's cold in the ground, Hank has been a member of the Wasimosa County NRA for decades. He's so paranoid about Obama that he carries his rifle with him at all times. If he is attacked by Krampus, he will survive. If he is attacked by Evil Elves, he will survive and fatally injure one of them.
So do we claim them or were they already handed out?

LaNathan is right. They're being randomly distributed amongst the relatives in intervals. Second batch (2-3 items) will go out later tonight. And I should've mentioned, but most of them are single-use. The Snow Boots are the only multi-use given out so far.
There is no good reason for ANY OF US to open any gifts that may appear in this game. First of all, you just saw what happened to genetic: we're going to be down THREE family members by the start of Day 2.
Secondly, we're the majority: Urban's immunity has no use for the majority faction, but more significance for the Elves and Krampus. Plus now the Elves know NOT to attack Urban, complicating him if he happens to be a Grandpa Hank role. It also doesn't allow us to vote him out, our SOLE means of power in this game.
