I understand where he is coming from...like Adele is definitely more marketable and easier to push because of her race. however he should NOT take away her hard work and he needs to give credit where its due. like she did not just become a sensation and get "pushed" by labels etc from the get go. she had to prove that she was insanely marketable for her label to trust in her and her music which they then helped her reach this level of success with 25's promotion. like they would not have given her this type of promotion back in the "19" days. she had to build a career from nothing.
I said the EXACT same thing to my mom when we were talking about Adele's sales. I never blamed adele though and I do think she deserves success but its a shame that black RnB singers like Jazmine Sullivn with similar talent aren't even acknowledged

You gotta have more than just talent to get ahead in the industry.
Is Adele really that heavily pushed, though? I know she has major backing but it didn't feel like the industry was out to make her a superstar. People just responded to the material.
