Was Enya's 9/11 song that big? I have direct experience with 9/11 and remember the whole thing very vividly, but I have absolutely no memory of that song. I do remember hearing "Hero" by Enrique everywhere though.

You're right. It's forgotten, like everything else she has ever done. "Orinoco Flow" may be a tad remembered, but Enya is generally forgotten. An '80s relic if I have ever heard of one.

I never recalled an Enya 9/11 song but when I looked it up the other day I instantly recognized the melody. It was basically ingrained in the back of my mind

It wasn't a HUGE song, but it was used quite often in memory to those lost on that day.

Which is how I originally heard the song. I think most people have heard it, but can't name the artist behind the song. Never knew who Enya was until ATRL.
