Looking at the official AMA thread and now I see why the music industry is in such despair right now. So many members, new ones in particular, are mocking J. Lo saying that they should've gotten a better singer to open while a bunch of them are praising Selena's and Demi's performances.
The new generation just does not like excitement in their performances.

Yes, it most certainly should. Considering Rihanna is a pop artist and Christ is not. Especially with all of this massive promo and ads during the AMA's. Here's to hoping ANTI will match Christ, his first week debuts.
