I agree though, I can definitely see them building her personality gradually back to her original as she becomes more accustomed & experienced to the life of an explorer.
the most stupid thing that irks me about the last two games is little things like her grunts as she falls/dies, I miss her blood curdling screams as she falls to her death. (
)
