As far as U.S. history goes, people groups have always gained power and fought their oppressors by the mean of violence.
The Civil Rights Act was written consequent to a violent riot.
Some could argue had it not been for the Baltimore riots, their wouldn't have been a indictment.
But more to the point why do you keep bringing up riots and looting as if it's a weekly phenomenon? You're gonna need a better backbone to your argument
