"We Used to Wait" was released as the first UK single from The Suburbs, it was released with an interactive video where you could enter the address of the house you grew up in so you can see your home become part of the video, thanks to Google maps.
The piano driven song was inspired by a 'letter writing romance' Win Butler had with a girl when he was younger. Bless.
