"Suburban War" is the dramatic centerpiece to the album. Like many other songs on the record it deals with how people grow up, change and grow apart. It wasn't released as a single, but it' was one of the most acclaimed songs on the album, appearing on some year-end lists. The song is also the main theme of the band's short film: Scenes From the Suburbs.
