The depraved rush of"Hell of a Life" is notable for being the only 'solo' song on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The song tells the story of a marriage (and divorce) between Kanye and a **** star..Who might that be? It was influenced by rock and heavy metal, sampling from "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath among others. Featuring highly sexual lyrics blurring the line between fantasy and reality, it's a real contrast between the more tender songs before and after it.
Best bit: The little instrumental part after every hook. Best lyrics: " 'How can you say they live they life wrong/ When you never **** with the lights on.'"
MBDTF is still one of the best albums of all time with all good songs left, I'd rather us level out some of the unimportant tracks from the other albums.
"Jackrabbits" is one of the shorter song on Have One On Me, a pretty straightforward folk number. It's one of the most bleak and heartbreaking songs on the album with just a harp and Joanna's unaffected vocals imploring that she can "love you again."
The song was doing pretty badly for most of the voting period, but it received a lot of love in the last week and it's average increased by more than a point.
Best bit: The way she sings "jackrabbits" Best lyrics: But you can take my hand in the darkness, darling / When you need a friend
