i guess standards were lower
It's just that her older albums sound really dated, and it feels like the singles (and not even all of them) from them are what really stand out.
I suppose maybe it's that all these other people are older and grew up with them; I mean, Hell, when I started listening to Madonna (and music in general) it was already 2004.
