I was kinda getting ready for Frank and Oliver to hook up.

theories I found on tumblr about Wes/Annalise situation:

Annalise Keating, born Anna Mae Harkness, lived with her mother and siblings and had a very hard childhood as they were poor and because was abused as a child by her uncle Clyde. Her mother took care of the situation by burning the house and killing her brother during the event, but Annalise only learns about that information on 1.13, when Ophelia appears for the first time on the show. Annalise seems to carry a lot of resentment for her mother because of what happened with her as a child - even tho her mother never left her without food, clothes or a place to sleep, she grew old believing her mother knew about the abuse but didn’t do anything because it was her brother. Not only the abuse itself is very traumatic, but growing up believing your own mom covered it up, that’s pretty ****ed up.

So, as she was older and went to Harvard Law she met Eve Rothlo. Now, on episode 2.07, during their conversation in the bedroom, Eve asks Annalise about Wes, which Annalise replies with “He’s not just a student, it’s him.” or something along those lines, and it got the entire fandom theorising that Wes is actually Annalise’s son and she gave him to adoption.

Not a lot of information can back up this theory, tho. According to Wes he moved to Ohio from Haiti at age 1 with his mother, who committed suicide when he was 12. That’s something that his mom could’ve told him in order to acknowledge the fact that she was haitian (because that’s something you’ll eventually tell your kid someday “Hey, I’m haitian!”) but still keeping the adoption a secret.

Now, back to Annalise’s Harvard years. Imagine a (presumably) young adult Annalise Keating (probably still going by the name Anna Mae at that time). She is traumatized with her past, sure. But she is young and she is living her life, she’s going to University, she is seeing a brand new world and things seem to be changing for her now that she’s working hard to get a degree and a good life, but imagine this: She gets pregnant. And having the financial problems her family had when she was young probably made her realize that it wasn’t the best time to have a baby, especially because she was just a student and she wanted to make her life better by becoming a succesful laywer. So yeah, there was no way she could raise that kid on her own - and we need to remember that this Annalise still thought her mother covered for her uncle Clyde’s abuse so asking her mother for help was a no-go either. So she made a decision, give the baby to adoption.

But perhaps she couldn’t do it alone so maybe she was good friends with Eve at that time and she went through the entire proccess with Annalise, the pregnancy and the adoption and that’s why she gets it when Annalise says “It’s him” on 2.07. They could’ve gotten even more intimate during those 9 months and they fell in love, I don’t know. I can’t really fit Eve in these thoughts because we don’t have a lot of information about that. Or maybe Annalise didn’t know Eve and they met after the baby adoption thing and Annalise confided the baby secret when they started dating and that’s how Eve knows about it.

Finally, I really just wanted to talk about Annalise going to teraphy. All that law school weight hanging on her shoulders and carrying so much from her childhood and giving her own son to adoption because she couldn’t/wouldn’t raise him under those circumstances got the best of her so she needed professional help. It was too much for her and Eve saw how much she was struggling at the time. And that’s why Eve says on 2.07 during their conversation “You’re a good person” because she remembers how it was like for Annalise in the past.

I kinda think Oliver is gonna be in some kind of a relationship with that killer guy, I think he knew the killer was spying on them while he was talking to Connor and found a way to send a message to him I don't think we'll see the end of him, considering Connor was okay in 4 days into the future.

I don't know about Annalise being Wes' mother. I thought she is at the beginning of season1. There was a scene that made me believe that there is more than just a professor/student relationship. There definitely is but HTGAWM has so many twists and turns. When something big is revealed I'm usually at the edge of my seat creaming "NO WAY!". Annalise being Wes' mother is too obvious now.
On the other hand I don't know what else it could be.

No way is he her son , they would've said it. Instead, if he is, they'd need to ahve another twist where it's "revealed" which would have no effect at all

Based on the events that took place in this episode, "4 days earlier" was at the beginning of the episode. When the killer went into Oli's apartment at the end, it's probably like 2 days before. I mean, there's no way they did all of that stuff in just one day. Lol

Maybe Annalise killed Wes' mother and staged it as a suicide? I've always felt like she was too good at covering up these murders. Lol. It's like she has experience.

E07 was probably the best episode this season thus far, after a couple of low blows in the middle of the season.

I just want to comment on how intense Bonnie was this episode. I'm really waiting for a moment from her, and I think she really shined on this one. Same with Laurel, I really like her character, but she was always under the radar.

I really don't care about Michaela and Wes. At least the other three of the Keating 5 have something interesting in them.

I also applaud the episode for including Eve again. She's really a great addition to the story. If only Levi was also included (especially narrating what's happening with him in prison), this episode would have been rock solid. However, it doesn't change the fact that this episode turned things around for this season and I'm really excited for the mid-season finale.

1. I don't think that Wes is Annalise's son. As somebody already stated, it would be way too obvious (since season one) to this point and this series revolves around plot twists.
2. I guess that Annalise shot herself to incriminate Caleb or Sinclair. Or it was Bonnie.

At the end we are all wrong, this show f up minds.

On the other hand, I cannot stand Wes or Connor, specially the latter. I wish he was the one being murdered and not Oliver. But well.

Ollie better not die

It's kinda funny how they destroyed Connor's character to build Oliver's.

That scene between Bonnie and Annalaise, probably one of the most intense acting scenes so far, both actresses were amazing

Bonnie is melodramatic and ungrateful...she should be thanking Annalise...not wishing she would die. wth

I definitely can see the Oliver theory coming true.
And yeah, idk if Ana is Wes ha motha but I feel like she def been part of his past, at some point.

Connor is fading. He's nowhere as good as he was in S1. Laurel was amazing this ep, and so was Bonnie. Frank too.
I thot Bonnie was gonna chill once Anna starts dragging her but she DIDN'T She had it this time

I can't stand the whole Anna/Eve romance tho. It feels so forced and it's the only time I can actually sense Viola "acting" to make the scene believable.

I'm always speechless at the end of each episode. Ollie better not die, I'm not here for it. And Bonnie....? She should be thanking Annalise.
