Lol. Friends isn't even the most iconic, impactful (hate these words, but it's true) TV show to come out of the 90s. No amount of re-runs will change that.

I'm 15 and Friends is the only 90s TV show I or any of my friends are familiar with to the point we can recall line for line from some episodes. If that isn't impact, I don't know what is.
There’s something Forrest Gumpian about the way Britney always finds her way, without even trying. We were sure she was over after the Work Bitch-Perfume death punch but then she drifted over to Vegas like that white feather and made herself a fortune there. I think it’s because despite her rough past, there’s still something innocent and pure about her at heart. Like Forrest. In a way that makes her a great American hero. Also like Forrest.

JuliPanned NoMoore deserved to have a win but she is kinda totally forgagatten now. When I think of 2014 and leading women in film, I think of Marion Cotillard in Two Days, One Night and Rosamund Pike in Gone Girl.
