Adele making history.
Hotline Bling could've been #1 without Adele and Bieber.
Bieber could've been #1 without Adele.

So far in digital era, artists with multiple songs with multiple component #1 weeks, yet no overall #1:
Psy - 6 Streaming (technically) + 6 Sales for Gangnam Style, 2 Streaming for Gentleman
OneRepublic - 4 Airplay Counting Stars, 2 Sales Apologize

I don't see any new singles from 1989. Adele killed the era.

That's just for Billboard 200 In that case it would be overall points (Sales + Airplay + Streaming) used for Hot 100 purposes

Can you all stop this nonsense battle between these two ladies? Taylor is hardly affected by the success Adele is currently having and let's not forget she was slaying last year when she released Shake It Off and Blank Space.

Bieber pulling 23M streams and 275k sales is very impressive; wouldn't of been a bigger deal if it wasn't for ADELE.

oh gosh please, I love both ladies and never was into any war. Just her music company was releasing singles to get number one singles, she don't care about them, they do. And looking the fact that Adele will slay Hot 100 till next year a doubt they will do anything till then.
Theny MAYBE they will release a new single for the Grammys (with music video after Grammys). But other scenario is that Adele also will be releasing that time so they will give up.
We will see.

ATRL is more obsessed with whether or not She gets more #1s than either Taylor or Big Machine. Invalid argument.
