Have they though? MDNA sold the same as Bangerz. Rebel Heart is going to outsell Lana, Demi, Selena, and likely Ariana's new albums. She's still competing while releasing current pop music (unlike say Barbra who can only sell a lot by releasing a greatest hits duet album).
That's cruel.
