This performance is outrageously underrated. How come NO ONE (not even the fans) brought this performance up during the whole lip synch scandal in 2013? It's funny how people bashed her for not being able to sing yet here she is singing live, slaying, in the cold, at the very same event 4 years earlier.

People strive on negatively/critical opinions, even if she done well at the same event 4 years earlier or SANG the anthem a month later. That will be all the non-fans remember because the media isn't going to show you otherwise most of the time.

Who cares. Im glad the Inauguration lipsync scandal happened. Perfect setup for the Superbowl and have the GP watch her slay their souls. Could not have been more perfect timing. What makes superstars is their ability to counteract controversy to their favor and she did it perfectly.

I always wanted a documentary called "From The Inaugration to the Superbowl."

this. I loved how she handled it. And I just love how she spilled the tea when she said (something along the lines of) that every artists uses prerecorded vocals or backing tracks sometimes for live performances. That is 100% the complete truth. And then we have other artists trying to claim that they "always sing live" after constantly being caught of doing the opposite.

And yet, Beyoncé is the one who receives the majority of the hate for it on ATRL (shocker!!!)

We can agree to disagree but we can agree that the song reached Keyshia's ears first (because she criticized the song before Bey got it).

So, I have officially come to terms that ST is now my favorite Bey album as a whole to date.

4 is my baby and always will be, but ST is just out of this world. It's mature, it hasn't seemed to sound "dated" whatsoever, and has several unique elements to it, aside from its release and the fact that it's a visual album.
