Blackout was the first dark album from a major artist. Other artists soon followed suit. Blackout songs had dark videos and performances both on the Circus tour and the FF tour.

Mmm no? Ray of Light was a very dark album she sang about her mother's death and a lot of the performances from the Drowned World Tour were very dark same with the MDNA tour first section lol

I never understand when fans talk about hair. I remember doing a live tweet for the Femme Fatale Tour in Toronto and someone asked me that. I said 'I dunno. It's blond and looks good?'
Well hair can make or break someones face (EX: Madonna circa late 1993/Madonna 2001-2002)
I love her hair on this tour, i personally find it so cool how she changes the hairstyles through each section aswell. The fact that the wardrobe department can get so much done in 3 minutes amazes me
EDIT: also, fans weren't that bad with the hair during the FFT as we are now! The only reason why is because of wigs, every show, every stan is worried about her wearing a wig or not because she can't perform in them

If anyone is in doubt as to whether Madonna still deserves the reputation she once held as a world-class artist, I can tell you she very much does. In my mind, her stellar performance at The Forum on Tuesday solidified her iconic status forever
I didn’t know what to expect when walking into The Forum, but I definitely fell in love with Madonna by the end of the night. Even her smile melts my heart — dear God. I went home and learned a couple tracks from the Queen on the ukulele, as she was playing one throughout the night. She even sang a song in French for her daughter — “La Vie en rose.” It was endearing and adorable.
The Rebel Heart tour is full of rebellious energy, but it is also full of love, like a rebel WITH a cause. I had no idea what the night would entail, but I walked away loving it and will forever be a Madonna fan. After much contemplation, I’ve decided to let her be my personal pop Queen, too.
I think I liked MDNA tour better. Her live version of Vogue on it was so damn Iconic. This one will have to grow on me. Sticky and Sweet is still one of my faves though. It was so perfect.

I don't need to post lyrics from 4 different songs you can do that on you're own time, but I'll post the one that counts the most. "They want more? I'll give them more!" in response to the crowd chanting "gimme more." She basically gave them her life in real life. Her life was put on display throughout that era which gave it a dark sinister tone.
Anyway I just thought I'd give my opinion on the direction Madonna was going in. I didn't want to go off topic. I think Madonna is doing a good job on her tour. It's a very dark tour to me and I just thought I'd compare the two. I just wish she would bring back the original Madonna that we know her to be instead of going this dark route with both her album and tour.
