This era is gonna be fun just to watch the meltdowns. My fellow Black Twitter counterparts have already started their think pieces about how it's not fair for Adele to sell singing soul music. Ooh them and the crazies on here are gonna be a kiiii.

They really can't drag Adele for singing soul music because her genre of soul has been around forever and she always states her inspirations and does it with respect.

People keep going on about Jazmine Sullivan and how she's not successful but most of them seem to forget that Adele is more pop/contemporary and Jazmine Sullivan is pure R&B, that's why.

Just like '21' was boring and forgotten quickly? LOL Girl. Stop embarrassing yourself. Adele is currently embarking on the most iconic musical era of our time. No other artist is on her level. The rest are mere pop idols. Adele is a musical legend up there with Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Johnny Cash, The Beatles.

The Taylor fans are pressed because Taylor achieved a lot in her last era, and held records with '1989'. Just about a year later, Adele is about to shatter and discredit all of Taylor's effort and success - and that was a LOT of effort including cringey Christmas videos, try-hard tour tactics i.e. inviting guests on every show, single remixes etc. to struggle to keep the record alive. Adele releases a track, sits on her ass, and yes has annihilated any Taylor record that ever existed, and will continue to do so throughout the era. I can understand your anger, but Adele is just on another level than Taylor Swift. She's legendary. Taylor if forgettable pop star material.
