To play devi's advocate here, most of reddit & commenters from other places don't appear to like Chloe either though. Maybe, maybe it's possible to just not care for her? Or think she might not be right for this role?
That said, I think Chloe is playing her dry because the character itself is quite brittle, and I think most might be mistaking their dislike for her character as dislike for the actress as well (keyword might, because not everyone has to like every actor).

Alex says he isnt in AA and needs to stop obsessing over controlling things or something. I think he is, i mean you dont have to be in AA to be an alcoholic. Tbh i think it might have been done to show the true disconnect between them, i mean she doesnt even care if he has a drink, just to ease the incoming divorce papers shes got hidden up her sleeve

This episode was kinda lame. I was bored. The Angela backstory is so cliché and the taking revenge plot is so unnecessary and foreseeable. They're at that point again where there are dozens of storylines and characters, but don't really focus on anything.
Like, we got that long-ass introduction to Mr. March and then he's barely in this episode? What about some progress with the 10 commandments killer case, or at least some more time spent on it? They should concentrate on that stuff, instead of
turning Iris into a vampire.
Ain't nobody got tome for dat.

most badly executed scenes so far
1. Gaga killing that girl in that turban dress
2. Gaga and Angela Elevator scene( i don't know whether it poor production or wrong camera angle)
3. Wes was cringe worthy when Sarah disappeared after seducing him

Huh? I've been seeing mainly just praise for Chloe's performance. I HAVE seen people who hate Alex (and think she's too cold/bitchy), but even they've thought Chloe was good. I really hadn't seen any criticism of her until I logged on here.

You don't have to be in AA to be an alcoholic, but I just can't see a doctor who chewed out a woman for not vaccinating her son properly telling a man she KNOWS is an alcoholic to have a drink. I did think he was an alcoholic too at first, though
I could see it being a disconnect thing. It's clear that relationship is severely damaged. But while Alex can be cold, I don't think she's THAT heartless

Do you guys think Gaga actually has some sort of power/influence ? Like with the director scene with Ramona just made me think she does, and the little things like her getting Will Drake to take a drink in episode 1. I remember it being discussed here before, but i thought they were staying away from the kinda mystical aspect of vampires? Im unsure what to think tbh

I love the sexy hilarious flavour Angela is adding to the show.
This episode was truly fantastic. 3=1>2. The good thing about this episode is it was not too long and it makes you want more. What can I say the cast is amazing, I doubt there is another show at the moment that we can brag so much about our faves' acting skills. Sarah Paulos and Kathy Bates are so talented oh my gosh. Sally is such an amazing role for Sarah.
Donovan was so ****able and lovable at the beginning but he's becoming so meh. Will Drake is still useless. The Countess better come for his money and kill the bitch. My predictions about Finn include a number of murders inspired by Mr March and then Donovan will off him. Angela is the true deal this season. Next week's episode will be huge, they are topping themselves every episode I can't believe that and we still have so many terrifying things to see in the upcoming episodes.
My theories about Johh are becoming more and more obvious - he is invited to Devil's Night, he doesn't know **** about what's happening to him, all this time loss, you can feel free to bookmark me.
About Alex - Chloe is not a bad actress obviously but this housewife kind of image does not suit her at all. Lily would have been the perfect Alex.
Naomi was ****ing hilarious and she was good, her coming back to snatch Alex's weave left me cackling.
Liz's backstory will be so interesting I can already feel it.
The only thing that bugged was the scene with Ramona and the Countess in the elevator. During the third look I think when the Countess was wearing her long weave on one side... guys, that was not Gaga, it could not have been Gaga, I think this was an imposter. I will try to screenshot this scene.

Tbh, they need to pull a big twist at the end. The Countess reveals that she isn't actually diseased: she's a legit vampire and she's been fooling everyone.

You never know, its AHS. I mean Alex could turn actually turn out to be evil or something and is doing it on purpose to undermine him lol Like, if those theories of her being 10CK have any truth to them :P

Disagreed. I can't possibly see Lily pulling off a character this cold this effectively and still feeling sympathetic. And I'm a big Lily fan

I stand by my theory that John Lowe is the 10CK. Everything points to it, even his name. But yeah, if Alex is the 10CK, I'm obviously wrong, but I'm thinking she's going to be this year's final girl. And probably the sole survivor (at least of the mains)

Maybe it depends on one's personal opinion, but Alex can't make me feel any sympathy. Whereas I can really relate to Sally and feel her pain despite her being the bad guy.
Why did the addiction demon showed up while Sally was making out with Johh and then in the bathroom when Claudia was washing her face? Is it because Johh has an alcohol dependence? What is Claudia's addiction?
