I highly doubt she'd flip easily on that. If she decided to support and sign it after being against it while running, and if that became a regular thing, do you think she'd ever get reelected? She knows she wouldn't. She's too smart for that.

Listen to the words she used in her statement "as of today I am not in favour", "it doesnt meet my high standards" (despite calling it the "gold standard" in the past .
It couldn't be more clear that she's planning to do a 180 if she gets into office.

But does it help the U.S. be more competitive globally and help further our reign as superpower? yeah.

Sometimes the right thing is going to hurt a lot of middle class people, but the interests of the country are longterm. That's why Clinton has to dance around it because she knows it's actually the right thing to do, but would hurt the people who she needs votes from.

Yes, it could. She's flip-flopped once, but there's absolutely no indication she will again. You can argue that she has great capacity to do so given her history, but there's no indication she actually will.

Side note: her flip-flopping is exaggerated and overdramatized when there are actually quite a lot of politicians who do it to the same extent.
