Nicki isn't a singer and isn't marketed as one so we don't expect great vocals from her. Aaliyah wasn't that great at singing either
Aaliyah wasn't that great of a seller so I don't know why you're bragging and she was in a much better sales climate than Nicki

Never Say Never outsold Aaliyah's discography and they were actually out during the same time. Why would an Aaliyah stan brag about sales when hers is pretty mediocre compared to the other girls around her time. At least Nicki can sale singles and get streams
