LOL. That song was too schmaltzy, and ended her Female Country Vocal Performance reign (3 in a row at the Grammys - which was her entire career at the time). Quitter (A crossover Max Martin Bop 2+ years before TSwift even got a WHIFF of the Swedish Pop King) , Songs Like This (that debuted on the country charts WITHOUT being sent), or Someday When I Stop Loving You (another beast ballad) would have not broken her #1 airplay chain.

True, but mama's song shouldn't have even had a WHIFF of being a single. Maybe a promo video sent to CMT to celebrate her marriage, but not a single. Especially from an artist who could have a "Come On Over/Up" era in terms of singles and limits herself to 4 each era.
