Sam: "This is a very cute entry. I didn’t really have many problems with it. I liked “Don’t need instructions, I’ll pave my own road” and “Don’t need a direction, just need to fly”, they definitely embodied freedom. You have a good sense of rhythm, rhyming and structure, so you’re off to a good start. The parts in parenthesis were unnecessary and detracted a little. Overall, it was an enjoyable read."
Mystery Judge: "The selection met the right criteria and did well. Actually, I really like this, I hear a kickass spoken word intro that would lead into something great. A little sing-songy but that is fine."
Lovesong: "This is a really cool intro; it’ll definitely start off an album nicely. The countdown was a bit cheesy but it can also work nicely depending on the context. I like the inspirational feel of the song and the imagery that you used was a very nice start. I think you can definitely push yourself more to really tap into your inner self to pull emotion out. I’d also advise you to double word placement and rhyme, little things like that can make all the difference."
Gotskill: "I’m getting a little ClarksonSlays and a little Element here. I love both of their styles. You’re right, the song is a bit cheesy, but it would work well as an intro to a pop album. My one main criticism is the forced rhyme with the “don’t need a guide” line. Never rhyme for the sake of rhyming because it will come off as forced and lazy. Nothing about this song blows me away, but it’s a solid first entry and shows a lot of potential."
Hugamari: "I'm not a fan of denotating where "instrumental" parts, or lacks thereof, are. Also, what bugs me is you said 1, 2, 3 instead of 3, 2, 1. I think the way you ordered it was so that you were talking about the first 3 songs on this album, but I still think 3, 2, 1...*goes to first song* would've been better. Besides for the general picking at needless things, I think you did the idea of an intro pretty well. Meter could use just a tad bit of work, but it's mostly there. I think you'll hit it on the head soon enough!"
