I do want a collab that's Jay-Z/Bey vs. The World. I mean Part II/Bonnie and Cylde '03 was like that but I mean something fierce or more bragging like the songs you described. Something closer to their performance of Clique/Diva during OTR tour.

Stuff like this convinced me that people just want to hate on Bey because she's a threat to whatever their perceived notion of what is being the best is. I mean MJ IS the best. But I don't get why people have to have only room for one.

I guess I'm the only one done with Bey/Jay collabs. There are other artists she could collab with, now doing another song with Jay seems so safe.

Except she is. She has specifically said that she was talking about the media and haters calling the group the show Survivor because of the rotating members.

And she said in the iTunes preview of Bow Down that it wasn't the Beyonce that wakes up every day and that that day she was angry about haters. I just think she's a happily grown woman who doesn't care about the ******** and doesn't have any real beef with anyone.

I would rather her feature on Jay songs because as much as I love him, her songs that he features on would be great with or without him. You can't say the same for 03 Bonnie and Clyde or Part II.

Well it's not like she'll stop collaborating with other artists in favor of only working with Jay-Z. Tbh, it been so common it would feel off if we went two era without a Jay-Z collab unless he actually retire.

The lyrics to Survivor is aimed at LaToya and LaTavia regardless of what Bey say.

The first verse and bridge is clearly dissing LaToya and LaTavia. The media and haters were never in her life to leave and who would she blast out from the media? The second verse is up for grabs though.

I agree that it was partly directed at Latoya and Latavia but I think it was just an answer to everything happening - including what Latoya and Latavia were saying. (Which is why DC had to settle out of court after Survivor was released.) But Latoya and Latavia were lumped in with just any general hater.

My whole point was that Beyonce doesn't have any feuds. Feud implies something longstanding or something deep. I think she handles something and moves on, just like she did with the former members of DC. We really went down a rabbit hole here
