What are the pros of having all the rights to your music?

The biggest one is money. Rih will now be getting a bigger cut off her songs then she was previously. Since she no longer has to split fees w the label. (RocNation will still get a cut off Anti but it'll be smaller then the cut they would be getting from a J.Cole or Rita album)
Ownership over music also allows artist to control where the music gets played. If a tv show or brand wants to use Rihanna music in commercials they have to get approval from her. So NBC had to ask for her permission to use Towards the Sun in Heros ad.
Usually labels are free to do what they want with a song with/ or without the artist consent.
Same w streaming, a label can upload or pull music from sites if they want without telling the artist.
Long story short. Rihanna legally now has the final say in what happens with her music, when/how it gets released, etc.
