I thought they said "by a commercial pop star" and not "a commercial by a pop star" my bad
It's when she's slurring out 'I want your love' it's that ugly tonality I don't like. If she had sang that in a higher register with more clarity this song would've been heaven.
The queen of pop has slayed me again, this song keeps getting better and better with every listen, so refreshing to hear something other than edm or jazz
