The Queen of Pop got them shook. I love this, it's like 2011 all over again.
Congrats Gaga. It must be so rewarding to actually earn this award during the year where everything went according to plan, where she got her new management and finally let go of her past.
A year in which she scored her second career-definind performance and Songwriter's ICON award, a leading role in a TV show and a Grammy She literally demolished this year with a Jazz cover album and few amazing performances while others released full bodies of work that felt unnoticed.
It's true and this is nothing to do with Gaga. Woman of the year is just a random award some artists buy to promote themselves or their new projects. And the Monsters themselves agreed with this in 2010:

Why the personal attacks? Keep it about the celebrities but don't viciously attack me and other members. We are simply discussing the topic on hand and just because that thread was an exposé doesn't mean you and the others have to violently attack us.
