So I had lunch with the Japanese exchange students and a French friend of theirs and she told me she didn't know I was foreign because my French accent is good This other American girl thought I was French too

Unfortunately my lack of smoothness while speaking gives it away soon enough though. It's funny because even though I speak English perfectly, people do realize I have an accent in English and I've been living in America for five years Whereas this is my first month in France and I keep getting compliments on my accent.
