I don't really know the full picture, but apparently the sales reported by Nielsen(?) were wrong.

Billboard re-published an article and the actual position of HBTB with the updated sales is #51. The Lanasters were dragged terribly in the Hot 100 thread.

The reported first week sales were 248k and they were bragging about how it beat Applause's first week. Knowing the Monsters, they went IN went the real sales were revealed.
