I'm just saying what Twitter reported, tbh. You know I don't like Nicki Minaj and Taylor is my fave so I want her to win, especially with the masterpiece that is Blank Space but after all the fights and even now that Twitter reported this, they won't risk to be exposed at "racists" again even if it isn't the case. Let's be real
Those twitter votes don't mean **** anyway. I'm pretty sure that Ariana was expected to win Best Female and Best Collab last year, yet Katy and Bey won those since they were the bigger names
What I want to win:
VOTY - Kendrick Lamar - Alright
BFV - Blank Space - Taylor Swift
BMV - Uptown Funk - Mark Ronson (feat. Bruno Mars)
Bad Blood is obviously gonna win tho
The KIIS I'll be having if Nicki wins Her speech will be so EPIC and SHADY

The total votes are not linked to total tweets though. People who logged in had the option to share their votes on twitter or Facebook or not to share their votes at all. In other words monitoring twitter traffic is not indicative of voting totals, as it is impossible to know what percentage of the voters decided to send out twitter notifications and what percentage sent out Facebook notifications and what percentage opted out of any notifications.
The tweets might be used as an indicator of when peaks of voting activity occured though. I had a look on topsy analytics last month and most of the tweets about Nicki and the VMAs were in the first week of voting. Basically when the whole mess with Nicki and Taylor happened on twitter. After that week Taylor consistently had more tweets regarding the VMA than Nicki. Taylor got a massive spike of tweet activity in the last 2 days before the voting period ended.

Yeah this too. That's why I'm not expecting Nick to win, but even if Taylor is ahead on votes, I still think they'll give it to Nicki, I don't know why I think that. As long as Tay gets VOTY I'm fine tbh. I hope she gets all of her awards tho
