This is the second time I've honestly felt that a competition was rigged. First was the comeback / HOH comp in BB15 when you could clearly see something touch Helen's foot from behind the wall they were standing on, and now this competition.
That was so shady but I always wondered why they'd do that to Helen. Elissa was clearly productions love child that season so I never expected something like that to happen to her biggest ally. I never understand choices they make though. I really felt like Jackie was gonna come back.

The only explanation I can think of is production either offered her an undisclosed sum of cash to fall when she was prompted to, or a guaranteed spot in All-Stars 2, if and when it happens.
Watch Steve win HOH during DE again and put up James and Meg. He is probably ignorant enough to believe that the Austwins and Vanessa want to take him with them to the Final 4/3/2.
