You can even be huge without having a single top 10 or even top 40 single.
Hot 100 isn't the only thing.
Billboard 200 and being able to sell out live shows are very important things. Arguably more important than the Hot 100.

Well but if you don't have a #1 on the Hot 100 that would mean that you're not THAT big...
