It is because 80s pop had inedible melodies whereas 90s was more reliant on production, but melody is what sticks in your head and ultimately makes something memorable, since it allows people to sing along to it. Not that production-driven songs can't be remembered, but they need to really, really stand out.

Blackout is better than Loose and FS/LS imo. But to say that it wasn't influenced by those 2 is just....

FS/LS is one of the most iconic (for real) and trend-setting albums of the past 15 years.

The Danja songs on Blackout are on par with the FSLS/Loose stuff (and it's really personal opinion which you prefer) but the B&A stuff is what elevates Blackout above those other 2 for me.

Kelly can do whatever the **** she wants because her personality is not repulsive. Her fan base will only grow as people grow older.

Established A/C artists like P!nk and Kelly will always have their careers because that audience is very loyal, no matter how much **** they pull off.

It's interesting how on Circus, where her conservatorship was in effect and she was under label control (with Blackout she refused to talk to her label and did the whole thing without their interference, which is also why she refused to promote after the VMAs) we actually got those things. This review was so on point.

He actually wasn't even really elected the first time. He literally cheated to beat Al Gore. And he was only elected the second term because it's virtually unheard of to switch presidents in the midst of a war (and **** was so ****ing messy with 9/11 and all the other crazy things that were going on during that time.)

Kelly is cool. It's fun to make fun of her because she's so sloppy and fat, lol, but she has literally never done or said anything rude or mean or shady.

Pink on the other hand is just annoying as ****. It's even funnier because she's tried so hard to be the badass but can never get the attention she crave(d).
