"Gangnam Style" was a #1 sales hit, "One More Night" peaked at #2. And in late 2012, literally no one talked about that forgotten Adam Levine song while "Gangnam Style" was all the rage and quickly spread beyond the internet.
It may not be a good song (K-pop in general is awful), but it absolutely deserved #1. And that's why the rules were changed.
She did amazing. I only now realized how actually talented she is. It's a shame that all of her songs are typical boring AC songs
