Radio 1 played Cool For The Summer twice this morning and only played Good For You once. My country its taste

I agree. It's that album that feeds the stereotype that Björk music is all weird sounds and screeches. It works really well in songs like Oceania, Where is the Line, and Triumph of a Heart but it is such a turn off with songs like Ancestor.

Volta isn't her best but Earth Intruders is godly.

She has an incredible discography but yeah, I understand it can take people time to get into Björk.

Medúlla is her least accessible but definitely not her worst.

I feel like I need to be tied down and forced to get through Medulla.

Some artists need a How To guide if they have a diverse discography and people try and start with their least palatable albums, though.

Vulnicura is her worst. Her relationship problems make her seem way too normal.

If you literally have to force yourself to listen to albums 20 times before you brainwash yourself into liking it that just means the album was not good to begin with. There are albums that are growers and there are albums that are **** and you force yourself to like them because they are different enough for you to pretend you have a diverse taste.
