When I started the movie I was also a bit surprised how 'normal' the mom actually was, as opposed to what they presented in the trailer. Some of the scenes are just dream sequences, like her going to the forest and the bugs coming out of her.

They didn't really explain what was the deal with the mom's friend/twin and we never really got the confirmation if it was really their mother (I think she really was and the kid was the one who was messed up the most after what happened to his brother)

Goodnight Mommy was not as good as I expected. It was too still and boring for me.

Anyaways, I was in that mood and watched Ginger Snaps 1, 2 and 3 and GOD I'M SLAYED

The first movie is straigh up ICONIC!!!! One of the best teen horror movies I've seen, if not the best. 2 and 3 were cute but not refreshing and completely unecessary.

Just read some spoilers about the SINISTER 2 killer tapes. If anyone curious,

Electrocution is already in the trailer. Family is gagged and electrocuted in their kitchen.

Christmas involves a family been left out in the snow and they all freeze to death. @ seconds of that in the trailer also.

Fishing trip is supposed to involve a family being baited up and fed to an alligator.

Dentist supposedly involves a kid using drills on her family in her father's dentist office.

And Church rats supposedly involves hot wax and well, rats but that one I'm not too sure on.

I have only watched 1st one. It was good, but nothing extraordinary imo.

Goodnight Mommy was good, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. never wanted to injure a child as much as I did the dead twin. Worst character ever.

Unfriended was like unintentionally hilarious.

The acting was surprisingly good tho, too bad the movie was mediocre.
