What makes you think Katy had any say in the plaque she received from Capitol Records for her album? They're adjusted sales anyway, not inflated sales. They're not claiming that the album sold 10M copies in pure sales.
Also you're incorrect again. The album produced five hits, Dark Horse and Roar were the only mega-smash hits.

Well, this is a bit embarrassing. If you read the thread before trying to drag, you'd see that it's 10M, not 100M. There was no inflation, it was simply a typo.
