Jill Scott and Tyrese have fanbases who are all in the "R&B" camp and they've released music to make all of their listeners happy. Ciara can't. She has a little bit of R&B, a little bit of Pop, a little bit of hiphop, dance, etc. Its going to be extremely hard to make any of them completely happy on one album. And noone is going to jump behind her unless she really gets into perfecting her craft in one of those areas, or all of those areas. I Bet was a good start for R&B. but the album landed after that and was not R&B outside of those two songs. She can't excite the R&B Ci fanbase who got into her after Promise with just I Bet and DLWML, and those were the singles chosen.
They'd rather buy those singles and pass on the album
