Listen to her past urban hits and then listen to DLWML..... IBet and Lulluby are the only songs from this album that can run on urban..... DLWML to me is a safe single with enough urban influence not to be disapproved by her urban fans, which is why it would've been a perfect first single.

Why didn't she come out to this song when she presented at the ESPYs? She could've plugged the single/album...Sometimes you have to shamelessly promote yourself. I think 7.7million people watched that night.

Why her management didn't put the bug in BET ear before they called that Ciara WANTED a performance slot on that stage to perform her new single DLWML and was to ensure a controversial performance. Agreed. She needs to do that type of song that crosses over then come hard with a era of up tempos and hot collabs of her own. She needs to start playing the game that every other Urban artist is doing and bring her music sales back up. I hope when it's all said and done she can at least be on Chris Brown's level but right now it's looking grim. Ciara is our generation's most underrated and most mishandled talent.

I completely agree. She might not be on Rihanna or Bey level, but she should at least be able to be on Chris Brown level. He can book award shows and prime promo slots and she can't. I don't know what it is. She can't book SNL, DWTS, AGT,SYTYCD,Idol, voice, award shows....It's sad because she is a visual artist, when she performs she sells the song.

After this album she needs to come out with a hit on a soundtrack if no one wants her on their single....

The song is also starting to do better on Spotify. It's getting about 30k daily, which is good enough given the little airplay and the low sales so far.

I was referring to to the overall sound and feel of the album.. As it is it is a huge disaster.. Those pop tracks change the mood entirely and affect the tracks I highlighted, which are not all great, they are just worthy enough to stay on the album HAD there of been more tracks like I Bet, DLWML, Only One and Kiss & Tell.. The rest I mentioned are just simply good to standard album tracks.. Mix in the crappy dated pop songs and the terrible All Good and the album is so below Ciaras standard. But again this is all subjective as it's just my opinion.. unfortunately the era is dead and she needs to majorly rethink where her career as an artist is going. There is clearly conflict somewhere and I'm sorry to say but Future was 100% right and I think that's how the majority of csquad feel.

If Jackie had the same overall sound as self-titled... LAWD.

The positive thing about how this era seems to be turning out is that Ciara might finally get the memo that noone's here for her pop songs and that we all want r&b from her
