I don't think she looks dead in the mugshot (it's possible, but I don't think that's the case), but it's definitely off as if they treated her differently for some reason -- like, why was she not in regular clothing? When you're first processed into a jail, they immediately do mugshots upon arrival, then you're left in a holding area in plain clothes and you don't change until the magistrate decides if you can sign yourself out contingent upon promise to attend a scheduled court date or if you will be held until court. If you look at
other mugshots from the Waller County system, there is NO ONE is photographed in the inmate jump suits. NO ONE. Something different took place in the process with her; when things are done out of order, it's fishy. This is way off -- almost like they held her and made her change prior to documenting her even being taken in; why?
And how would she have have even had access to a plastic bag inside of a cell to begin with -- much less hanged herself with one? In what jails do they keep giant mess hall sized trash bins inside of prison cells? Nothing about this makes sense and when things don't make sense, usually something being said isn't true. This screams of cover up and I'm glad this is being treated as a murder investigation because I think she was killed or died from injuries sustained out of excessive force or outright abuse.
Either way, this shouldn't have happened to her and she shouldn't have been there all because some cops ego couldn't take her not putting out a cigarette in her own vehicle when he said to do it. She didn't violate any laws by saying no and not following an order she wasn't required to follow. SMH this is so sad and it's so infuriating.
