The album is flawless, not a single bad song. It's been on replay for a week.

I listened to King a while ago after hearing everyone buzz about it and I'm thinking about checking out some songs from the album since everyone seems to love it. I also just heard Shine today and it sounds like a bop. Anybody have any recommendations I should definitely listen to?

My signed copy came in today! It's honestly one of the most beautiful and best albums I've ever had.

Solid album, I hope this band has some longevity.

I can't stop listening on this album! Eyes Shut and Ties are so good!

I thought the album sounds pretty lame actually. I really want to like It but there's no replay value for me. I feel like there are other artists that do It way better. Two Door Cinema Club and the Citizens! for example. Or Miike Snow.

But good for the guys. Solid but uninspired debut imo.

This album is so average. It's not interesting in terms of sound, and the songwriting leaves a bit to be desired.

Olly really doesn't have the voice to carry those slower songs.

I'm obsessed with Worship and the fast-paced parts of Border.

I finally got a chance to listen to all of this a few times and I have to agree.


It's a little sad because their are really good moments and gems like Shine, and 1977 but for every good song come 3 semi-bad to tolerable ones. Most of this album is basic uninspired synthpop and to top it off so much of the way the songs are structured just makes a lot of this feel really repetitive and draining. There is no reason for this to be 13 tracks long.


I really do like the tone of Olly's vocals a lot though, and I really LOVE both Shine and 1977 but too much of this album is basic.

I'm a huge fan of "King." I'm going to have to check this out

I heard one of their songs on Beats 1 "Desire" and discovered it was flawless so I bought the song.

Then today I listened to their full album and it's flawless

It's kind of amazing how some people are saying this album is boring and uninspired yet I find it so passionate and artistic and I cannot stop listening to it.
