Obama is a legend, he is known all around the world and the history books are going to be filled with his persona in the years to come. There's not a single head of state these days who can compete with his relevance and prominence aside from Queen Elizabeth II and probably Putin.

I honestly feel like she sort of became iconic as soon as the 1-2 slayage of I Kissed a Girl and HotNCold happened. I remember everyone would sing those songs and she had this "lesbian punk yet lolita clueless doll" look that everyone liked.
I feel like the Teenage Dream era then cemented her icon status and elevated her further. then the Prism slayage happened and she was sitting comfortably at the top of what being an "icon" is. meaning that by the end of her next 2 eras..if well executed she could become a mini legend already
